VACCINE INFORMATION PROJECT
Vaccines became a project in 1981 after an implausible explanation for a new viral outbreak (parvo) at the Collie National Specialty. Writing for The Dog, Barbara Andrews observed that no virus could erupt simultaneously on two continents. Fellow newspaper columnist Dr. Erbeck then postulated that "parvo virus" came from a lab accident, not from a spontaneous mutation as was claimed by the vaccine companies.
As columnist for the AKC Gazette, Kennel Review, Canine Chronicle, etc. Andrews continued to report vaccine anomalies. Then, in 1998, TheDogPlace became the world's first dog-site and in 2000 theVaccine Project was launched. In 2004 TheDogPress.com, the dog fancy's first digital newspaper, covered the vaccine cover-up. By 2005 Senator Kennedy's vaccine-mercury-autism connection was reported here and we introduced Kris Christine's Rabies Challenge Fund. Finally, in March 2006, the AAHA took an official position on "non-core" vaccines and the AVMA released new vaccine protocol. In2008 TheDogPress reported the unspeakable truth about “outbreaks” such as swine flu, bird flu, anthrax, foot and mouth, and in 2010 this site revealed VID (Vaccine Induced Disease). Today, brave doctors and veterinarians around the world join us in exposing the health risks of over-vaccination. We thank Patricia Jordan, DVM, Jane Barber, DVM, Roberta Lee, PhD, and Drs. Jeannie Thomason and KimBloomer for contributing their expertise to the Vaccines Project.
